We recommend using your cold sore torch 3-5 times a day, 60–300 seconds for each session. Our light therapy wand can be used for 100 minutes in maximum output mode and for 2 hours in other output modes. The battery capacity is up to 900 mAh, and it fully charges in 2.5 hours with an automatic shut-off feature to protect the battery once fully charged. For quick healing results, place your device at a surface or 1-inch away from the sore area.

How to use red light therapy on body and skin?
Ideally, you would place the light source close to your body, and this would enable a session to be complete in just a few minutes.
Dose is measured in J/cm²(Joules per centimeter squared). The greater the power density, the less time it will take for your cells to receive the desired dose. Dose= Power Density x Time.
If you want a simple protocol that works well, irradiate yourself for 10 minutes, once or twice a day per area. Be sure to assess how you feel afterwards. Nobody knows your body better than you do.
How should I clean and maintain it?
1. After using the device, power it down and then wipe the light guide and silicone case with an alcohol prep pad or a handkerchief slightly dampened with clean water.
2. Ventilate the device until it dries off.
